SCOPE — Motion Picture Studio

Studio site · cinematic, reel-led, staggered grid

A portfolio site for a film studio whose whole pitch is craft, so the site had to look like something they'd actually make. I leaned into a cinematic dark theme — full-bleed black, a single gold accent, and heavy display type — with the showreel and selected work carried by a staggered, alternating grid that lets each film breathe like a title card. The challenge was pacing a long, image-heavy page so it built like a trailer rather than dragging: I used generous spacing, restrained motion, and a strict type hierarchy to keep the eye moving from the reel through the work, awards, and crew. The result feels less like a website and more like sitting in a dark room watching the studio's best frames.
